BSSD Teachers and staff,

Inktober is an annual arts event celebrated internationally by challenging ourselves to create ink drawing consistently throughout October.

There are many ways to participate but I have made 4 options below.

  1.  Drawings on any kind of paper using this Inktober Prompt List
  2. Tiny illustrations on this Inktober Calendar
  3. Large illustrations in an Inktober Packet (do not print double sided as ink bleeds through)
  4. 1/2 page illustrations in this Inktober Booklet (for booklet printing, after hitting print, select "more" >> select "print using system dialogue" >> enable 2-sided printing "long edge binding" >> instead of Layout, go to "Booklet Printing" and enable "format output as a booklet" and print.

Feel free to pick any of these or to make a tool of your own (some people like to inktober of sticky-notes or 1/4 sheets or to pick one of the 7 prompts to create only 1 drawing per week. Whatever works best for you will be wonderful!)

As alway, I'd love photos of your students' work to update the website and please save photos of student work if students will want to submit it for the BSSD Online Arts show in the spring.
