The Bering Strait School District ECE program of study is the Creative Curriculum for Preschool. The Creative Curriculum for Preschool is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. This enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills. The Creative Curriculum for Preschool includes developmentally appropriate goals and objectives for children within four main categories of interest: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language. Additional teaching resources include Eureka Math PreK, Second Step and Heggerty Phonemic Awareness.
