Alaska Arts Education Consortium selected student work from Natchirsvik (White Mountain) as their first spotlight for March, which Dr. Michael Johnson (Alaska's Commissioner of the Department of Education and Early Development) recently proclaimed Alaska Arts Education Month!
Our first #ArtsEdMonthAK spotlight is from Natchirsvik in Bering Strait School District . This local landscape was created by a middle school student in MacKenzie Ervin's art class at White Mountain School using colored pencils and pastels.
