SATURDAY VOLLEYBALL! - The Lynx will play the Malimiuts again at 9:00 am Saturday, April 10. The Malimiuts will play the White Mountain Wolves at 11:00 am. We will finish off the weekend playing the Wolves at 1:00pm. If you have already shown your vaccination or negative COVID test results you need not show them again. We are still limited to 70 total guests, following the same restrictions as Friday's games.

LATEST ON VOLLEYBALL! - As we prepare for the upcoming weekend I wanted to clarify our COVID restrictions. We will be limited to 70 visitors per game. The M L O players will be able to have 5 guests each for the KKA game, and 3 each for the WMO game. ALL guests will need to provide a recent negative COVID test result or a vaccination record. VOLLEYBALL UPDATE!- We will be hosting the White Mountain Wolves this weekend as well as Koyuk, since Shismaref will not be able to make it. We don't know the schedule yet. We will keep you posted as we learn more.

QUARANTINE CLARIFICATION - I spoke with Dr Peterson of NSHC. Their guidelines follow the CDC, that only a traveler must quarantine. The entire household does not have to quarantine as long as that traveler has a negative test. Dr Bolen has stated that BSSD follows the NSHC guidelines, unless village guidelines are more strict. The city has stated that Golovin follows NSHC guidelines. Please contact me at the school if you have any further questions.

VOLLEYBALL! - The Martin L Olson Lynx will be hosting the Koyuk Malamutes this Friday and Saturday. Visitor will be limited to 5 invited guest per player, plus 15 non-invited guests. All guest must show proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test. Schedule will be posted as soon as possible. Please contact the school for more details.

NO GYM TONIGHT, APRIL 2 - There will be no Open Gym tonight.

OPTIONAL AFTERNOON - As the weather gets worse today (April 2) it may be difficult for students/parents to travel to and from the school. If you would like to pick up your child, or allow them to go home, any time after noon please contact the school. Otherwise they will be released at the normal 1:30 pm time.

PEAKS TESTING! - We will begin PEAKS testing next week, April 5-9, with Middle School and High School students. Elementary will test the week of April 12-16. Please contact the school for more information.

VISION AND HEARING SCREENINGS! - Ms Elligsen will be screening students for vision and hearing starting April 5th. If anyone from the community would like to be screened please contact the school to set up an appointment with her.

GO BLUE DAY! - Friday April 2nd is "Go Blue Day" to show awareness and support of preventing child abuse. Everyone wear blue to show your support.

VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE! - We have an official volleyball schedule now. Of course, it is subject to change, but for now we will be hosting Shishmaref and Koyuk on April 9-10. We should travel to Teller on April 16-17, and to Savoonga April 23-24. Tournaments will be held April 30-May 1. For more information contact the school.
