Attention Community of Shishmaref! Shishmaref School Q2 Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, January 30th, from 2-5:00 PM. There will be refreshments in the MPR starting at 4:00 PM. We hope to see you all there.

Dear Shishmaref Community: We will be opening the back door of the school by the MPR so that it can be used as a shelter tonight. If you are in need of s safe warm place to stay tonight while the power is out, you are welcome here. Please be advised that we will need to close the shelter status at 7:30AM so that we can have school as normally scheduled.

Dear Shishmaref Community, This is an update: We will have two events this week, and our families are invited. In addition to Wednesday's Parent Teach Conferences (PTC) we will have our Student of the Quarter Assembly on the following day (Thursday) from 2-3:30PM. Please join us in recognizing our students for their academic achievement and attendance. See you there!

Happy Halloween Shishmaref! Here is an electronic copy of our Newsletter. You can also find paper copies at the school, the store, and the post office later today.

We would like to invite families to attend our Halloween parade on Thursday October 31st at 2:00PM in the school gymnasium. After the parade students will return to their classes for Halloween themed activities. Please feel free to attend wearing school appropriate costumes if you would like. See you on Thursday!

Update for Community Members interested in the CPR training: The trainers have now arrived and will be in the MPR until 5:45-6:00PM tonight. Please join us at the school to receive the CRP training.
