Good afternoon Sivuqaq! Our sub pool is very small at the moment. The only way for us to call you to sub is if you come in and fill out an application for employment and let us know you want to sub. We'll do a background check as well.

Destin and Matt from the U.S. Army Civil Affairs team will teach a class on how to apply tourniquets at 5pm at the school for anyone who wants to attend. Knowing how to properly apply a tourniquet is easy to learn and is one of the most important ways to save lives in the event of an accident. They taught the high schoolers this morning and the kids did VERY well. See if you can beat their times! They will also be available afterwards to field any questions.

I want to thank the students, families, community, and staff for an amazing school year full of accomplishments such as state qualifying cross country running, tournament dominating wrestlers, battle of the books teams that almost swept the district competition, science fair/kidwind energy projects that earned awards like most outstanding school and most outstanding teacher in Alaska, our national award in kidwind energy, successful basketball and volleyball seasons including little dribbler championships, great cheerleading, less discipline issues, and better relationships. Our students are truly awesome kids. I am looking forward to next year and can't wait to see what our students accomplish next. Thank you for a great year! -Keith
