The Bering Strait School District Board of Education will meet in a special meeting with the Association of Alaska School Boards staff on Thursday, Apr. 11, beginning at 9:00am at the Dimond Center Hotel Boardroom. The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss the Superintendent search process, followed by the Board conducting their annual self-assessment. The board will enter into Executive Session to deliberate on the Superintendent candidates. The self-assessment will be held in public.
