BSSD HAS A STATE CHAMPION RUNNER!!!
Ourea did it! Unalakleet's Ourea finished 1st overall in the Division III Girls ASAA State Cross Country Race Saturday morning. This is BSSD's first ever Cross Country title.
On a foggy day in Palmer, BSSD shined brightly. Violet of UNK also finished 10th and Autumn of SKK finished 51st out of 84 runners.
The boys also made history with all 3 runners finishing in the top 32. Seth Paniptchuk of SKK finished 13th, Norman of SHH finished 24th and Ethan of GLV finished 32nd. This is the best overall combined finishes for the boys in the state competition.
